This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Pro-Ject RM 1.3 Turntable. Please read it thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and longevity of your device.

Setup Istruzzjonijiet
Follow these steps carefully to set up your turntable:
- Spakkjar: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport.
- Installazzjoni tal-Platter: Place the platter onto the central spindle. Ensure it sits securely and rotates freely.
- Pjazzament tal-Mutur: Position the outboard motor unit next to the turntable chassis. The motor pulley should align with the outer rim of the platter.

- Cartridge Installation (if not pre-installed): If your Sumiko Pearl cartridge is not pre-installed, carefully attach it to the tonearm headshell using the provided screws. Ensure correct alignment.
- Aġġustament tal-Kontropiż: Slide the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm. Adjust it until the tonearm floats horizontally. Then, set the tracking force according to the cartridge manufacturer's recommendations (typically 1.8g for Sumiko Pearl). Use a stylus pressure gauge for accuracy.
- Anti-skating Adjustment: Attach the anti-skating weight to the tonearm's anti-skating mechanism. Adjust the setting to match the tracking force.
