2. Setup
2.1 Disimballaġġ
Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Retain all packing materials for potential future transport or storage. Verify that all accessories listed in the packing list are present.

The Elna 745 features Tensjoni Auto, which automatically adjusts thread tension for selected stitches. Fine-tuning may be required based on fabric type and thread.
3.3 Differential Feed
The differential feed mechanism allows for precise control over fabric feeding, preventing stretching or puckering. Adjust the differential feed dial (DF) according to your fabric type and desired effect. A setting of 'N' (Normal) is suitable for most fabrics.
3.4 Stitch Length and Width
Adjust the stitch length and width using the dedicated dials. Refer to the stitch chart for recommended settings for different fabric types and stitch applications.
3.5 Ħjata

Refer to the lubrication points indicated in the machine's internal diagrams. Apply a small amount of high-quality sewing machine oil to these points as recommended in the full service manual.
