This Acctim clock combines functionality with style, featuring Smartlite technology for automatic dial illumination, a silent sweep seconds hand, and a crescendo alarm with snooze. It is designed to complement your home and office environment.

5. Setup

The clock requires 3 x AA batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 4.2).

1. Locate the 'ALARM SET' knob on the back of the clock (usually the left-hand knob when facing the back, refer to Figure 4.2).
2. Rotate the 'ALARM SET' knob to move the alarm hand to your desired alarm time.
3. To activate the alarm, slide the 'ALARM ON/OFF' switch (located on the side or back) to the 'ON' position.
4. The alarm will sound at the set time with a crescendo (gradually increasing) volume.

6.2 Snooze Function and Backlight

When the alarm sounds, press the large 'SNOOZE-LIGHT' button located on the top of the clock (refer to Figure 6.1). This will temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 5 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period. Pressing this button also activates the backlight for a few seconds for easy viewing fid-dlam.

6.3 Smartlite Technology

The Acctim Bedside Alarm Clock features Smartlite technology. This innovative function automatically illuminates the clock's dial in low-light conditions, making it easy to read the time at night without needing to press any buttons. The illumination level adjusts based on ambient light.

6.4 Everglow Adjustable Brightness

The Everglow feature allows you to adjust the brightness of the Smartlite illumination. Locate the 'BRITE-DIM' switch or slider on the back or top of the clock (refer to Figure 6.1). Move the switch to your preferred brightness level to customize the night-time visibility of the dial.

• If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
