5. Setup

- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software and USB drivers.
- Ensure the installation completes successfully before proceeding.
5.3 Connecting to PC and Initial Configuration
Connect the datalogger to your PC using the supplied USB cable to set up logging parameters and synchronize time.

- Connect the mini-USB end of the cable to the datalogger and the standard USB end to an available port on your PC.
- Launch the Extech Datalogger software.
- Within the software, select the "Connect" option. The software should detect the device.
- Navigate to the "Logger Set" or "Parameter Settings" section. Here you can configure:
- SampRata tal-linarda: Choose from 2s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 1m, 5m, 10m, 30m, 1hr, 2hr, 3hr, 6hr, 12hr, or 24hr.

6. Operating the Datalogger

Once configured via the software, disconnect the datalogger from the PC. Press and hold the "TEMP/%RH" button for approximately 3 seconds until the "REC" indicator appears on the LCD, signifying that logging has started. Place the datalogger in the desired monitoring location.

6.2 Viewing Current Readings
While logging, the LCD will continuously display the current temperature and humidity. Press the "TEMP/%RH" button to toggle between displaying temperature and relative humidity.
6.3 ViewQari MAX/MIN
Press the "MAX/MIN" button to cycle through the maximum and minimum recorded temperature and humidity values since logging began. Pressing it again will return to current readings.
6.4 Twaqqif tar-Reġistrazzjoni tad-Data
To stop logging, press and hold the "TEMP/%RH" button for approximately 3 seconds until the "REC" indicator disappears from the LCD.
6.5 Data Download and Analysis
After logging is complete, connect the datalogger to your PC via USB. Open the Extech Datalogger software and select the "Download Data" option. The software will retrieve the recorded data, which can then be viewed in graphical or tabular format, exported to a spreadsheet (e.g., .xls or .txt), or saved in a proprietary format for later analysis.
7. Manutenzjoni

8 Issolvi l-problemi
