Passi ta' Installazzjoni (Gwida Ġenerali)
- Prepare the ATV: Park the ATV on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the engine. For easier access, consider temporarily removing accessories from the front rack and winch if present.
- Remove Skid Plate: Locate and remove the lower plastic skid plate. This typically involves two plastic pins and two 10mm bolts. Note how the skid plate's tongue fits into the next plate underneath for reinstallation.
- Loosen Bumper Bolts: Remove the bottom four bolts connecting the bumper to the frame. You will reuse two of these and replace the other two with longer bolts from the kit. Loosen, but do not remove, the two bolts at the top of the bumper that attach to the front rack.
- Access Bumper Area: Gently pop off the plastic top front brush guard to access the top bumper bolts. Pull the brush guard back enough to insert your socket. Tilt the front bumper/rack assembly outwards, creating an opening.
- Position Plow Mount: Carefully slide the WARN 80558 plow mount into the opening you created. Align the mount with the existing bolt holes on the ATV's frame and the flange that holds the winch mount plate (if applicable).
- Install Bolts and Spacers: Insert the appropriate bolts, washers, and spacers. Start all bolts hand-tight before fully tightening any. This allows for minor adjustments to align all holes. Two spacers are typically placed between the mount and the bumper where the original bumper bolts are replaced with longer ones. This step may require some manipulation to get threads started.
- Issikka l-Qfieli kollha: Once all bolts are in place and aligned, progressively tighten them to the manufacturer's specified torque settings. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Erġa' installa l-Komponenti: Reinstall the plastic top front brush guard and the lower plastic skid plate.
- Kontroll Finali: Verify that the mount is securely attached and that there is no interference with other ATV components.
