Setup

Initial Winding

Your Seiko SNXA03 watch is powered by an automatic movement, which means it winds itself through the motion of your arm. If the watch has stopped, gently swing it from side to side for about 30 seconds to initiate the movement. Wearing the watch for several hours will build up the power reserve.

L-issettjar tal-Ħin u d-Data

  1. Iġbed il-kuruna 'l barra: Locate the crown on the right side of the watch case. Gently pull it out to the second click position (farthest out). The second hand will stop.
  2. Issettja l-ħin: Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise until the desired time is displayed. To avoid confusion between AM and PM for the date change, advance the hands past 12 o'clock. If the date changes, you are in the AM hours.
  3. Set the date and day: Push the crown in one click to the first click position. Rotate the crown clockwise to set the date and counter-clockwise to set the day of the week. Avoid setting the date or day between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM, as this can damage the movement.
  4. Imbotta l-kuruna 'l ġewwa: Once the time, date, and day are set, push the crown back fully into the normal position. The second hand will resume movement.

Note: For optimal accuracy, ensure the crown is always fully pushed in when not setting the watch.

Aġġustament tal-bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of your watch can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. It is recommended to have this adjustment performed by a qualified jeweler or watch technician to prevent damage to the bracelet or watch case.

Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi

Moviment Awtomatiku

The Seiko SNXA03 is equipped with an automatic mechanical movement. This means it does not require a battery. The watch is powered by the natural motion of your wrist, which causes an oscillating weight inside the watch to rotate and wind the mainspring. When fully wound, the watch has a power reserve that allows it to continue running for a certain period even when not being worn.

Water Resistance (100 Meters / 330 Feet)

Your watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for everyday use, including showering, swimming, and snorkeling. It is le suitable for scuba diving or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water. Avoid operating the crown while the watch is wet.

Manutenzjoni

When not wearing your watch for extended periods, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. A watch box or pouch is ideal for protection.

Servizzi Perjodiċi

Like any precision mechanical instrument, your Seiko automatic watch benefits from periodic servicing to ensure its accuracy and water resistance. It is generally recommended to have your watch inspected and serviced by an authorized Seiko service center every 3 to 5 years.

Hardlex Crystal

The watch features a Hardlex crystal, which is Seiko's proprietary hardened mineral glass. It offers good scratch resistance for daily wear, but it is not entirely scratch-proof. Avoid impacts and contact with abrasive surfaces to preserve its clarity.
