- Wait for both discs to be read by the unit.
- Select the desired dubbing speed (2x or 4x) using the DUBBING buttons. Higher speeds will complete the recording faster but may not be suitable for all discs or recording conditions.

- The display will indicate the recording status. Do not open the trays or power off the unit during recording.
- Once recording is complete, the unit will finalize the disc (if it's a CD-R) or prepare it for further recording (if it's a CD-RW).

You can record audio from an external device connected to the RW-D280's audio input.
- Connect your external audio source to the RW-D280's audio input jacks.
- Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc into Tray II.
- Start playback on your external audio source.
