5. Installazzjoni

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your SUMRY ECO LV 3.6KW inverter. Follow these steps carefully.

5.1 Circuit Breaker Requirements

Before installing and using the inverter, it is recommended to install circuit breakers in the following four positions to prevent misconnection or reverse connection of the mains input and the inverter output, and to protect against short circuits, load short circuits, or overloads:

  • Between the battery pack and the inverter battery input.
  • Between the solar panel and the photovoltaic input of the inverter.
  • Between the power input of the grid and the inverter.
  • Between the inverter output and load.

For the SUMRY ECO LV 3.6KW (3600W) model, use the following circuit breaker specifications:

  • Battery to Inverter: 2P100A circuit breaker
  • Photovoltaic (PV) Input to Inverter: 2P20A circuit breaker
  • Utility (AC) Input to Inverter: 2P50A circuit breaker
  • Inverter Output to Load: 2P30A circuit breaker

5.2 Passi ta' Installazzjoni

  1. Konnessjoni tal-batterija: Install a 2P100A circuit breaker between the battery and the inverter. Keep the breaker open. Connect the 24V battery to the inverter's battery terminals. Close the circuit breaker and measure the voltage on the inverter's battery side to ensure it is correct.
  2. Konnessjoni tad-Dħul PV: Install a 2P20A circuit breaker between the PV input and the inverter. Turn on this circuit breaker after successful installation. Ensure the battery voltage is normal. Connect the solar panels to the PV input. Close the circuit breaker between the PV input and the inverter. The inverter display should automatically light up and begin charging.
  3. Inverter Startup: Press the button on the bottom right corner of the inverter to start the machine. Verify that there is a 110V or 120V AC voltage output from the inverter's output terminals.
  4. AC Input & Output Connection: Install a 2P50A circuit breaker between the AC input and the inverter, and a 2P30A circuit breaker between the inverter's output and the load. After successful installation, turn on both the AC input and output circuit breakers. Connect the inverter to the mains utility. After 2 minutes, turn off the mains input circuit breaker, then turn off the circuit breaker of the inverter's output. This completes the installation procedure.

6.2 Modi ta' Ħidma

The inverter offers versatile working modes to customize the priority of power inputs and outputs for efficient energy management.

7. Komunikazzjoni

The SUMRY ECO LV series inverter supports various communication methods for monitoring and control.

7.1 WIFI & GPRS Communication (RS232)

The inverter features an RS232 communication port for connecting an optional WIFI module. This module enables remote monitoring via a mobile app (iOS and Android) as long as the inverter is connected to a network. It also allows for basic parameter settings. If you wish to use this feature, the WIFI module must be purchased separately.

7.2 Battery BMS Communication (RS485)

The inverter also includes an RS485 communication port specifically for lithium battery BMS (Battery Management System) communication. If you are using a lithium battery with BMS communication, ensure it supports either the PACE or PYLONTECH communication protocol for compatibility. A dedicated 485 communication cable is required and must be purchased separately, especially if the battery has a BMS protection board from PACE.

9 Issolvi l-problemi
