This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Bonroad 10.25" Linux Carplay Android Auto Display. This multimedia player is designed to enhance your driving experience in BMW 3 Series E90, E91, E92, E93 models from 2005-2012 that do not have a factory screen. It integrates modern features like wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, YouTube support, and retains original car functionalities.

This unit is compatible with:
- BMW 3 Series E90, E91, E92, E93 models manufactured between 2005 and 2012.
- Vehicles without an original factory screen.
- Left-hand drive cars only. Right-hand drive (RHD) versions are not compatible.

Dashboard Preparation: This installation requires cutting the dashboard. Use the provided cutting paper template to ensure precise cuts. Incorrect cutting can damage your dashboard.
Important Notice: Ensure correct placement and cutting of the dashboard template to avoid damage. -

Settings > System > Factory (code 8866) > Car Setupand select the correct version for your car. This will allow you to access the BMW system and set audio from AUX.

The unit operates on a Linux system and supports both iDrive control and touch screen input for its menu. Original car menus will primarily use iDrive control.
Using CarPlay and Android Auto:

- Q: My BMW system doesn't work after installation.
- A: After installation, if the original car screen shows black or "no signal," you need to enter
Settings > System > Factory (code 8866) > Car Setupand choose the correct version for your car. After this, you can enter the BMW system and set the sounds from AUX. - Q: I have an audio problem (no sound).
- A: Firstly, check if your BMW system has an AUX input. If it does, directly switch to audio AUX and save. If there is still no sound, ensure the AUX cable is properly plugged into your car's AUX port.
- Q: The original menu is not displayed normally or is incomplete.
- A: You can enter
Setting > Factory setting (8866) > OEM Display Areaand select "Full." - Q: When I turn on the car lights, the screen switches to the BMW system.
