The ZigBee 3.0 TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valve) is an intelligent temperature control device designed to optimize your home heating system. Featuring a mini design with a clear LCD digital display, it allows for precise temperature management and can be integrated into a smart home ecosystem via a Tuya ZigBee wireless gateway hub. 3.1 Installazzjoni tal-batterija
The radiator thermostat is powered by two AA batteries (not included). To install:

Follow these steps to install the TRV onto your radiator valve:

3.3 Connecting to a Tuya ZigBee Wireless Gateway Hub
A Tuya ZigBee wireless gateway hub is essential for the smart features of this TRV. It acts as a central point to connect the TRV with other ZigBee intelligent products and enables remote control and voice commands.

To connect your TRV:
- Ensure your Tuya ZigBee wireless gateway hub is powered on and connected to your WiFi router.
- Open the Tuya / Smart Life App on your smartphone.
- Add your gateway to the App if you haven't already.
- Follow the App's instructions to add the radiator actuator (TRV) to your gateway. This typically involves putting the TRV into pairing mode (refer to the TRV's display for pairing indicators).

4.2 Programmable Schedule
The TRV supports flexible weekly programming to suit your lifestyle. You can manually set up schedules for 5+2 days (weekdays + weekend), 6+1 days (6 working days + 1 rest day), or 7 days (individual daily schedules). Each day can have up to 6 periods for temperature adjustments.

4.3 Voice and Remote Control
Once connected to the Tuya ZigBee wireless gateway hub, you can control your TRV remotely via the Tuya / Smart Life App on your smartphone. Additionally, the device supports hands-free voice control through popular smart assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

4.4 Sejbien ta' Tieqa Miftuħa
The TRV features an intelligent open window detection function. If the room temperature suddenly drops below a predefined threshold (indicating an open window), the valve will automatically close for 15 minutes to prevent energy waste. After this period, if the temperature remains below the threshold, the valve will stay closed. This feature helps in maintaining energy efficiency.
5. Manutenzjoni
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ZigBee 3.0 TRV, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Tindif: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the display or casing.
