4. Istruzzjonijiet ta' Setup

This section guides you through setting up your Comfast AX3000 Mesh WiFi System. The Mesh function allows multiple routers to work together to create a unified, seamless network.

4.1. Mesh Network Configuration

To set up a Mesh network, you will need at least two Comfast routers with Mesh functionality. One router will act as the "Controller" and the other(s) as "Agent(s)".

Step-by-Step Mesh Setup (Web Interface Method):

  1. Prepare Routers: Designate one router as the "Controller" and the other(s) as "Agent(s)".
  2. Access Controller Router Settings:
    • Iftaħ a web browser and navigate to the router's administration interface (usually 192.168.1.1 or similar, check your manual for the exact IP).

    • Click on the "Mesh" tab in the navigation menu.
    • Locate "EasyMesh Settings" and ensure it is toggled "Open".
    • In the "Role" dropdown, select "Controller".

Alternative Mesh Pairing Methods:

  1. Wired Pairing (Method 1):
    • Connect the LAN ports of the Controller router and the Agent router using a network cable.
    • Wait for about 1 to 2 minutes for the connection to establish.
    • Refresh the setting interface to confirm the connection diagram includes both routers. Once successful, you can unplug the network cable.
  2. EasyMesh Button Pairing (Method 2):
    • Press the EasyMesh button on both the Controller and Agent routers simultaneously.
    • The indicator lights on both routers will start to flash, indicating they are waiting for a connection.
    • After successful connection, the lights will remain solid. Refresh the setting interface to verify.
  3. Web Interface Pairing (Method 3):
    • On the EasyMesh setting interface of both the Controller and Agent routers, click the "Trigger easymesh" button.
    • The indicator lights will start to flash, waiting for connection.
    • After successful connection, the lights will remain solid. Refresh the setting interface to verify.

Nota: If the indicator light remains off after attempting pairing, it means the pairing failed. Please re-attempt the process.

Indicator Light Troubleshooting:

  • If the indicator light is Aħmar: There is no network access. Check your WAN connection and ISP status.
  • If the indicator light is Aħdar: Network access is available.
  • If the indicator light is Blu: The WiFi connection is normal.
  • If the indicator light is mitfi during Mesh pairing: The pairing failed. Please re-attempt the pairing process as described in Section 4.1.
