6. Operazzjoni

6.1 Aġġustament tal-Qligħ tad-Dħul

Use the 'Gain 1' and 'Gain 2' knobs to set the input level for your connected microphones or instruments. Observe the 'OL' (Overload) indicators. If an 'OL' light flashes, reduce the gain to prevent clipping and distortion. Aim for a strong signal without the 'OL' light illuminating consistently.

6.2 Activating 48V Phantom Power

If you are using a condenser microphone, you will need to activate 48V phantom power. Press the '+48V' switch on the front panel. The indicator light will illuminate, providing power to Input 1. Ensure dynamic microphones do not have phantom power applied unless specifically designed for it.

6.3 Monitoraġġ Dirett

Engage the 'Direct Monitor' switch to hear your input signal directly through your headphones or speakers without any latency from your computer. This is crucial for recording to ensure accurate timing and performance.

6.4 Loopback Function

The 'Loopback' switch on the rear panel allows you to record or stream audio playing on your computer simultaneously with your microphone or instrument inputs. This is particularly useful for podcasts, live streams, or online lessons where you need to capture both your voice and computer audio (e.g., background music, video sound).

6.5 Output Volume Control

  • Buttuna tal-Ħruġ: Adjusts the overall volume level sent to your connected speakers via the RCA outputs.
  • Headphone Volume Adjustment: Controls the volume for your headphones.
