3. Setup

  1. Carefully remove the LILYGO T-Deck Plus from its packaging.
  2. Locate the antenna connector on the top of the device.
  3. Screw the provided external LoRa antenna clockwise onto the connector until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

The LILYGO T-Deck Plus is highly customizable and supports firmware development using PlatformIO or Arduino IDE.

5.1 PlatformIO Quick Start

  1. Installa VisualStudioCode u Python.

  3. After the installation is complete, you may need to restart VisualStudioCode.
  4. After restarting VisualStudioCode, select File in the upper left corner of VisualStudioCode -> Iftaħ Folder -> select the T-Deck directory.

  1. Installa Arduino IDE.
  2. In Arduino Preferences, on the Settings tab, enter the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/gh-pages/package_esp32_index.json URL in the "Additional boards manager URLs" input box. Please pay attention to the version. The test phase is using 2.0.14. It is not certain that versions above 2.0.14 can run. If the operation is abnormal, please downgrade to a version below 2.0.14. As of 2024/08/02, TFT_eSPI does not work on versions higher than 2.0.14, see TFT_eSPI/issue3329.
  3. Copy all the folders in the T-Deck/lib directory to <C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Arduino\libraries>. Jekk m'hemmx libraries directory, please create a new one. Please note that you are not copying the lib directory, but copying the folders within the lib direttorju.

7 Issolvi l-problemi
