Follow these steps to properly install and configure your SmallRig L-Shaped Mount Plate:
- Attaching to Nikon ZR Camera:
- Align the L-shaped mount plate with the base of your Nikon ZR camera.
- Use the integrated flat-head screwdriver (magnetically stored at the bottom of the plate) to securely fasten the plate to the camera's 1/4"-20 tripod socket. Ensure it is tight to prevent rotation.

- The base of the mount plate features a built-in Arca-Swiss quick release plate.
- This allows for instant mounting onto compatible Arca-type tripods (e.g., SmallRig ID 5290, 4222B) or DJI gimbals (RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro).
- Simply slide the plate into the Arca-Swiss clamp on your tripod or gimbal until it locks securely.

- QD Socket: A built-in QD socket is available for quick attachment of QD shoulder straps (e.g., SmallRig ID 4118B).
- Strap Slots: Utilize the strap slots for wrist straps (e.g., SmallRig ID 3848) for secure handling or shoulder straps (e.g., SmallRig ID 4882, 5208) for easy carrying.
- 1/4"-20 Threaded Hole on Handle: A dedicated 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the side of the handle allows for switching to portrait orientation when mounted on a tripod or other support.
