1. Introduzzjoni
Grazzi tax-xiriasing the Lenovo Dual Camera Drone YL3 Aerial Photography Aircraft. This drone features a dual-camera system, 5G WIFI connectivity, a brushless motor for efficient flight, and optical flow hover technology for stable aerial photography. It is designed for users aged 14 and above. Please read this manual carefully before operation and keep it properly for future reference.

3. Setup
3.1 Know Your Drone
The drone consists of the following main components:

3.2 Know Your Remote Control
The remote control allows for precise flight control and access to various functions. There are two configurations: an entry-level remote control and a 2.4-inch screen remote control.
3.3 Phone Clip Installation
Align the phone clip with the top groove of the remote control and insert it to complete the installation. This allows you to mount your smartphone for APP control and real-time image transmission.
3.4 Armar ta' Skrejjen
- Use the disassembly tool to gently lift up any propellers that need to be replaced.
- Align the replacement propeller with the motor shaft and press it down firmly by hand to complete the installation.
3.5 Battery Charging for Drone
- Remove the lithium battery from the bottom of the drone by pulling out the battery compartment.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging interface of the lithium battery.
Nota: The LED light on the battery will be on during charging and turn off when charging is complete. Charging time is approximately 60 minutes (as per product specification) or 120 minutes (as per OCR). Please refer to the product packaging for the most accurate charging time.

For the standard version remote control, open the battery cover and insert 3 AAA batteries correctly according to the polarity indications. (Batteries not included). For the screen control version, the remote control has a built-in 3.7V 500mAh rechargeable battery.

4. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
4.1 Pre-Flight Preparation

- Indoor: Spacious areas away from barriers, crowds, or pets are preferred.
- Outdoor: Sunny, windless, or breezy weather conditions are preferred.
Always keep the drone in sight during flight and keep it away from barriers, high-tension cables, trees, and people. Do not fly in extreme environments such as excessive heat, cold, strong winds, or heavy rain.
4.2 Signal Connection (Pairing)
- Turn on the drone and place it on a level surface. The indicator light of the transmitter and the LED of the drone will flash.
- Push the throttle joystick (left joystick) to the highest point, then pull it back to the lowest point. When you hear two beeps, the indicator light of the transmitter and the LED of the drone will become steadily lit, indicating that the signal connection is complete.
4.3 Transmitter Calibration
If the drone cannot ascend vertically during takeoff, it can be calibrated. Turn both the left and right control levers (joysticks) diagonally downwards and outwards (left joystick to bottom-left, right joystick to bottom-right). When you hear a "beep" sound, the drone's indicator light will flash rapidly. Wait for the indicator light to stay on, and calibration is complete. Ensure the drone is on a stable, horizontal surface during calibration for optimal results.
4.4 Start Your Flight
The drone offers various flight modes and controls:
- One-key Ascend and One-key Landing: Press the "One-key Ascend" button to make the drone's propellers rotate and automatically ascend to a height of approximately 1.5 meters. Press the button again for a one-key landing.

- Hover: After ascending, release the left joystick (throttle), and the drone will hover at a certain height.
- Flips & Rolls: When the drone is flying at an altitude of more than 3 meters, press the "360° flips and rolls" button and then move the right joystick in a desired direction. The drone will perform a roll in that direction.
- Speed and Light Control:
- Lightly press the speed button to cycle through speed modes: one "di" sound for slow speed, two "di" sounds for medium speed, and three "di" sounds for fast speed. The drone defaults to low speed.
- When the drone is turned on, the lights are on by default. Long-press the light control button to turn off the aircraft lights.
- Fine-Tuning Function: If the aircraft is drifting or leaning in the air, use the fine-tuning buttons to correct its flight path and ensure smooth operation.

Press the dedicated button to turn on the obstacle avoidance mode. Press it again to turn it off. This mode enables three-sided obstacle avoidance. When an obstacle is detected, the remote control will emit continuous "di di di" sounds, and the drone will retreat in the opposite direction of the obstacle.
Rakkomandazzjoni: It is recommended to use the obstacle avoidance function in indoor flight environments with a minimum area of 6 x 6 meters. When obstacle avoidance mode is active, the drone's speed will be reduced, and fast gear cannot be engaged. Therefore, it is best suited for indoor use.
5. Manutenzjoni
- Tindif: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote control. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
- Skrejjen: Regularly check propellers for damage. Replace any bent or broken propellers using the provided tool and spare parts.
- Kura tal-batterija: Follow the battery safety instructions provided in section 3.6. Do not store batteries fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.
- Ħażna: Store the drone and its accessories in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Note on Ground Effect: When the drone is within 30cm from the ground, it will be affected by the blade vortex it creates, leading to instability. This is known as "ground effect." The lower the drone flies, the greater this effect will be.
