   • Open the battery compartment on the back of both the main unit and the wireless outdoor sensor.
   • Insert the required AAA batteries (typically 3 for the main unit, 2 for the sensor), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

Ensure it is within the 100m/328ft transmission range of the main unit. The sensor includes a hook for easy mounting.
