3. Setup
3.1 Installazzjoni tal-batterija
- Gently twist the back cover of the smoke detector counter-clockwise to open it.
- Insert two AAA 1.5V batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

3.2 App Download and Device Pairing

- Select the 'WiFi TH&Smoke sensor' (or similar name) and follow the on-screen prompts to connect it to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password when requested.
- Once successfully added, the device will appear in your app's device list.

3.3 Post ta' Installazzjoni
The smoke detector is designed for ceiling-mounted installation. Choose a central location in the room, away from air vents, windows, and areas prone to high humidity or extreme temperatures, which could cause false alarms.

4.1 Monitoring Smoke, Temperature, and Humidity
Once paired, the device will continuously monitor for smoke, temperature, and humidity. You can view the current status and historical data directly from the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.

4.2 Alarm Conditions and Notifications
The detector will trigger an alarm under the following conditions:

Upon alarm activation, the device will:
- Emit an 80dB audible alarm.

4.3 Muting the Alarm
In case of a false alarm or after resolving the issue, you can mute the alarm directly from the app by clicking the 'Mute' button on the device's interface.

4.5 Konnessjoni Intelliġenti
Through the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, you can set up smart scenes to link your smoke detector with other compatible smart devices. For example, if smoke is detected, you can configure smart lights to flash, smart locks to unlock, or smart cameras to start recording.

5. Manutenzjoni
5.1 Sostituzzjoni tal-batterija
The device will send a low-battery reminder to your app when the battery level drops below 20%. Replace the two AAA 1.5V batteries promptly to ensure continuous protection.
5.2 Self-Inspection / Test
Regularly test your smoke detector to ensure it is functioning correctly. You can initiate a self-test from the app's device settings. The device will emit a test alarm and send a 'Self test is normal' push notification if successful.
5.3 Tindif
To maintain optimal performance, gently clean the exterior of the smoke detector with a soft, dry cloth periodically. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
