3. Setup u Installazzjoni

Proper installation is critical for the safe and efficient operation of your solar inverter. It is recommended to install appropriate circuit breakers at key points in the system.

  1. Konnessjoni tal-batterija: Install a circuit breaker between the battery and the inverter. After successful installation, open the breaker. Connect the 24V battery to the inverter. Close the circuit breaker and measure the voltage on the battery side of the inverter to ensure it is correct.

  2. Konnessjoni tad-Dħul PV: Install a circuit breaker between the PV input (solar panels) and the inverter. Turn on this circuit breaker after successful installation. Ensure the battery voltage is normal. Allow the inverter to connect to solar energy. Close the circuit breaker between the PV input and the inverter. The inverter display should automatically light up and begin charging. Press the button on the bottom right corner of the inverter to start the machine. Verify that there is 110V or 120V voltage output from the inverter.

  3. AC Input and Output Connections: Install a circuit breaker between the AC input (utility/generator) and the inverter. Also, install a circuit breaker between the inverter's output and your loads. After successful installation, turn on the AC input and output circuit breakers. Connect the inverter to the mains. After 2 minutes, turn off the mains input circuit breaker, and then turn off the circuit breaker of the inverter's output. This completes the installation procedure.

Circuit Breaker Specifications:

For the Sumry ECO LV 3.6KW (3600W) inverter, the following circuit breaker specifications are recommended:

  • Between Battery and Inverter: 2P100A circuit breaker
  • Between Photovoltaic (PV) Input and Inverter: 2P20A circuit breaker
  • Between Utility Input and Inverter: 2P50A circuit breaker
  • On Inverter Output: 2P30A circuit breaker
