2. Setup

2.3 A2 Host Installation
- The host unit can be installed in any fixed position on the bicycle.
- Fix and fasten the host with a cable tie, then cut off any excess cable tie.
- Insert the host into the fixed bracket and tighten the thumbscrews.
- To remove the host, turn the screw counterclockwise.

Short press the power button on the host unit to display the current battery level via blue LED indicators.
3.2 Remote Control and Host Pairing
If the remote control is not working, you may need to re-pair it with the host unit:
- Tqabbil: Press and hold the buzzer switch on the host. After the second 'Di' sound, the existing pairing link is successfully released.
- Tqabbil mill-ġdid: Press and hold the buzzer switch on the host. After the first 'Di' sound, immediately press any button on the remote control. You will hear 'Di, Di' indicating successful code matching.
3.3 Defense Deployment and Anti-Theft Alarm Functions
- Armar: Press the lock button on the remote control to activate the anti-theft alarm.
- Id-diżarm: Press the unlock button on the remote control to deactivate the anti-theft alarm.
- Panic/Find Bike: Press the lightning bolt button on the remote control to trigger the alarm or locate your bike.
3.4 Vibration Sensitivity Setting
The alarm features 3 levels of vibration sensitivity: high, medium, and low. Adjust by pressing the lock button on the remote control multiple times while the alarm is disarmed.
