  2. Select 'TIG' mode using the welding mode button (4).
  3. Adjust the welding current using the Current Adjustment Knob (A) based on the material type and thickness.
  4. Set the Post Gas time using the Post Gas Adjustment Knob (S). A post-flow time of 5-10 seconds is generally recommended to protect the weld puddle and tungsten from atmospheric contamination as it cools.
  5. Initiate the arc by pressing the TIG torch trigger. The High Frequency (HF) start will create a non-contact arc, preventing tungsten contamination.
  6. Maintain a consistent arc length and feed the filler rod (if used) into the weld puddle.
  7. Release the trigger to stop welding. The post-flow gas will continue for the set duration.
