4. Setup

2. **Assemble Hangers**: Attach the stainless steel hanger hook to the lifting rope.
3. **Mount Light**: Pass the hanger hook through the designated hole on the lamp bord.
4. **Secure Placement**: Hang the light in a fixed, secure location above your plants. Ensure the hanging mechanism is stable and can support the weight of the grow light.
5. **Connect Power**: Plug the power cord into the grow light's driver, then connect the power supply to a suitable electrical outlet.

The QB1000 LED Grow Light features a dimming knob to adjust light intensity and an adjustable rope hanger for height control. Optimize these settings according to your plant's growth stage.

5.1 Recommended Hanging Height and Brightness

The recommended hanging height is 30-60 cm (approximately 12-24 inches) above the plant canopy. Adjust the brightness and lighting duration as follows:

• **Germination Stage**: Brightness 30-40%, 16-18 hours ON / 8-6 hours OFF per day.
• **Seedling Stage**: Brightness 60%, 12-14 hours ON / 12-10 hours OFF per day.
• **Vegetative Stage**: Brightness 70-90%, 10-12 hours ON / 14-12 hours OFF per day.
• **Flowering Stage**: Brightness 100%, 12-14 hours ON / 12-10 hours OFF per day.

Maximum effective coverage is 3x3 ft. For vegetative growth, aim for 2x2 ft coverage. For flowering or fruiting, aim for 1.5x1.5 ft coverage.

• **Heat Dissipation**: Ensure the grow light is not stacked or covered with any objects that could impede airflow and heat dissipation. The light features a large-area thick aluminum heat sink for passive cooling.
• **Cleaning**: Periodically clean the lamp board to prevent dust accumulation on the diodes, which can reduce spectral value and light intensity. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• **Storage**: When not in use for extended periods, store the grow light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
