5. Provvista ta 'Enerġija
The CF-WA933 supports two power supply modes: standard Power over Ethernet (POE) and DC12V power supply, offering flexibility for different installation scenarios.

Figure 5.1: POE and DC Power Supply Connection Diagrams
5.1. POE Power Supply (Recommended)
For POE power supply, connect an Ethernet cable from a 48V POE switch or injector to the WAN port of the CF-WA933. This method simplifies installation by delivering both power and data over a single cable.
5.2. DC Power Supply
Alternatively, you can use a 12V DC power adapter (not included, but the port is available) connected to the DC power input port on the AP unit. In this setup, the network connection will still be made via the WAN or LAN ports using standard Ethernet cables.

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Comfast CF-WA933 Outdoor Wireless AP.

Figure 8.1: Common Outdoor AP Problems
| Problema | Kawża / Soluzzjoni Possibbli |
|---|---|
| Ebda Qawwa / LED tal-Qawwa Mitfi | Ensure the POE injector/switch is powered on and the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the WAN port. If using DC power, verify the adapter is correctly connected and functional. |
| Ebda Konnessjoni tal-Internet | Check the connection from your router/gateway to the POE switch/injector. Verify WAN port LED activity. Ensure proper network configuration (IP address, gateway, DNS). |
| Slow or Unstable WiFi Speed | Check for interference from other wireless devices. Ensure the AP is positioned optimally with minimal obstructions. Verify the backhaul connection speed. Consider adjusting WiFi channels. |
| Limited WiFi Coverage | Ensure the AP is mounted at an appropriate height and location, free from major physical obstructions. The CF-WA933 offers 360° omnidirectional coverage; repositioning might help. |
| Cannot Access AP Management Interface | Ensure your computer is on the same network segment as the AP. Verify the AP's IP address. Try resetting the AP to factory defaults using the reset button (refer to Figure 5.2 for location). |
| Apparat Mhux Jirrispondi | Perform a power cycle (disconnect and reconnect power). If the issue persists, a factory reset may be necessary. |
9. Għajnuniet għall-Utenti
- Kopertura Ottimali: The CF-WA933 features 360° omnidirectional antennas, providing a coverage radius of 120 meters or more. For best results, mount the AP in a central, elevated location within the desired coverage area.
- High-Density Environments: This AP is designed to handle over 200 concurrent users, making it ideal for crowded outdoor spaces. Ensure your network infrastructure (AC Gateway, POE Switch) can support the expected load.
- Protezzjoni tat-Temp: While the device is IP66 rated, regularly check the waterproof four-piece set and cable connections to ensure they remain sealed, especially after extreme weather conditions.
