- The display will also indicate the status of Line (L), Neutral (N), and Earth (E) connections.

6.3. Kejl tal-Volumtage Drop Under Load
The MS5908 can measure voltage drop under 5A, 8A, and 10A loads. This helps identify circuits that may be overloaded or have excessive resistance.
- Plug the test lead into the receptacle.
- Press the FUNC button to cycle to the voltage drop measurement mode.
- Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select the desired load (5A, 8A, or 10A).
- The device will display the voltage drop (Vd) under the selected load.
6.4. Measuring Conductor Impedances
This function measures the impedance of Hot, Neutral, and Ground conductors.
- Plug the test lead into the receptacle.
- Press the FUNC button to cycle to the impedance measurement mode (indicated by 'Z').
- The display will show the impedance values for Hot, Neutral, and Ground conductors.
6.5. Identifying Proper Wiring in 3-Wire Receptacles
The MS5908 automatically identifies proper wiring configurations in 3-wire receptacles. Incorrect wiring will be indicated on the display.
- Plug the test lead into the 3-wire receptacle.
- Observe the L, N, E indicators on the display. Correct wiring will typically show all three as properly connected.
- Any anomalies (e.g., open ground, open neutral, hot/ground reverse) will be indicated.
6.6. Testing RCD (Residual Current Device) Operation
The device tests the reliability and response time of RCDs.
- Plug the test lead into an RCD-protected receptacle.
- Press the FUNC button to cycle to the RCD test mode.
- Press the TEST button to initiate the RCD test.
