Connect your device to the router specifically via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Open a web browser and enter the default IP address (commonly http://192.168.1.1). Enter the username and password printed on the device label (often 'admin' and 'password' or a unique key).
Connect the master unit to your modem and power it on until LEDs are green. Place the slave/extender unit about 3 meters away and power it on. Wait for the LEDs on both units to stabilize (often solid green) to indicate successful pairing, then move the extender to your desired location.
LEDs indicate the status of Power, WAN (Internet), LAN ports, and Wi-Fi bands (2.4G/5G). Solid green usually means a stable connection, while blinking may indicate activity or pairing mode. Red lights typically indicate an error or no connection.
The default Network Name (SSID) and Password/Key are typically printed on a sticker located on the bottom or back of your KAON device.
Locate the 'Reset' button on the rear panel. Press and hold it (using a pin if recessed) for about 10 seconds until the LEDs flash and the device reboots.
