1. Introduzzjoni

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Generic SRN-873S 8-Channel Network Video Recorder (NVR). The SRN-873S is designed for surveillance applications, featuring an integrated 8-port Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) network switch for direct camera connections, simplifying setup and reducing the need for additional hardware. It supports up to 8 channels and offers high-resolution recording capabilities.

2. Setup

2.3 Hard Drive Installation (If applicable)

The SRN-873S NVR supports removable hard drives for easy installation and replacement. Refer to the specific instructions provided with your NVR for accessing the hard drive bay and securely installing or replacing the drive. Ensure the NVR is powered off before performing any hardware installation.

3.1 Initial Login and Setup Wizard

Upon first boot, the NVR will typically guide you through an initial setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up basic network configurations, date/time, and user accounts. It is crucial to change the default password for security purposes.
