Modi Operattivi
The SONICAKE Portal features two primary operating modes: Parallel and Series. These modes are selected using the A/B mode switch located on the top left of the pedal.
1. Parallel Mode
In Parallel mode, the Portal functions as a mixer, allowing you to blend three independent inputs (Send A, Send B, and Channel C) into one main output. This mode is ideal for blending multiple effects, creating parallel signal paths, or using the unit as an active ABY switcher.
When in Parallel mode, each channel (A, B, C) can be individually engaged or disengaged using its respective footswitch. The volume knob for each channel controls its output level.
2. Series Mode
In Series mode, channels A and B are linked sequentially. This means the output of channel A feeds into the input of channel B. When the A/B switch is engaged, either channel A or B is bypassed, depending on the footswitch status. This mode is useful for creating a serial effect chain with bypass options.
When all three footswitches (A, B, and C) are engaged, the unit operates in true bypass mode, ensuring a clean signal path without any processing from the Portal.
