6.2 Tindif

To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the sensor lens and the device exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the sensor or casing.

7 Issolvi l-problemi

ProblemaKawża / Soluzzjoni Possibbli
Apparat mhux qed jikkonnettja mal-Wi-Fi / App
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The sensor does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the sensor's location.
  • Make sure the sensor is in pairing mode (indicator light blinking rapidly). If not, press the reset button.
  • Restart your router and try pairing again.
No motion detection / Delayed detection
  • Check battery level in the app. Replace batteries if low.
  • If using battery power, there might be a slight delay (a few seconds) in detection as the sensor conserves power. For faster response, use USB power.
  • Kun żgur li l-lenti tas-sensorju tkun nadifa u mingħajr ostakli.
  • Verify the sensor's placement covers the desired area and is not facing heat sources.
False alarms / Too sensitive
  • Reposition the sensor away from direct sunlight, heating/cooling vents, or areas with frequent air currents.
  • Ensure pets are not triggering the sensor if placed too low.
  • The sensor's sensitivity is generally fixed. Adjusting its placement is the primary method to manage sensitivity.
Sensor stopped working after some time
  • Check power source (batteries or USB connection).
  • Attempt a device reset by pressing the reset button. If issues persist, remove and re-add the device in the app.
Long reset time between detections
  • The sensor has a built-in reset period (typically 15-18 seconds after no motion is detected) before it can trigger a new alert. This is normal behavior to prevent excessive notifications.
Subscription required for features
  • Basic app notifications and event history are typically free. Certain advanced features, such as SMS alerts or cloud storage for integrated cameras, may require a separate subscription from the app provider (Tuya/Smart Life).
