The BONTEC monitor arm offers two installation methods: C-clamp and Grommet base. Choose the method best suited for your desk.

5.1.1 C-Clamp Installazzjoni

  1. Remove the VESA plate from the monitor arm by lifting it up.
  2. Align the VESA plate with the mounting holes on the back of your monitor (75x75mm or 100x100mm).
  3. Secure the VESA plate to the monitor using the appropriate screws from the hardware kit. Hand screws are provided for easy installation without a screwdriver.
  4. Carefully slide the monitor with the attached VESA plate onto the monitor arm until it clicks securely into place.

6.1 Adjusting Monitor Position

  • Mejjel: Gently push or pull the top or bottom of your monitor to achieve the desired vertical angle (±90°).
  • Dawwar: Rotate the monitor horizontally to adjust the viewing angle left or right (±90°).

6.2 Adjusting Gas Spring Tension

The gas spring tension may need adjustment to properly support your monitor's weight. The arm features a robust 750 N·m gas spring.

  1. If the monitor sags or does not stay in position, increase the tension. Use the provided Allen key to turn the adjustment screw (usually located on the arm near the VESA plate or main pole) clockwise.
  2. If the monitor floats up or is difficult to push down, decrease the tension. Turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise.
  3. Adjust gradually and test the arm's movement until the monitor stays in place at any desired height.
