4. Prekawzjonijiet tas-Sigurtà
- Always ensure correct polarity when connecting the battery to the ESC. Incorrect connections can cause severe damage.
- Avoid short circuits on all connections.
- Keep the ESC away from water and moisture unless explicitly stated as waterproof.
- Ensure proper ventilation for the ESC to prevent overheating during operation.
- Disconnect the battery from the ESC after use to prevent accidental activation or discharge.
- Always use appropriate safety gear when operating RC vehicles.
5. Setup u Wiring
Proper wiring is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your ESC. Follow these steps carefully:
- Qabbad il-Wajers tal-Mutur: Connect the three motor wires from your brushless motor to the corresponding 4mm banana connectors on the ESC. Ensure a secure connection.
- Connect Receiver Cable: Plug the ESC's signal wire (usually a three-wire cable: black, red, white) into the throttle channel (typically channel 2) of your RC receiver. Pay attention to the correct orientation (signal, positive, negative).
- Qabbad il-batterija: Connect your 2S Lithium Battery to the XT60 power connector on the ESC. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
- Immuntar: Securely mount the ESC in your RC car chassis using double-sided tape or zip ties, ensuring it has adequate airflow for cooling.

6. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
Before operating your RC car, it is essential to perform a throttle range calibration to ensure the ESC correctly interprets signals from your transmitter.
6.1 Kalibrazzjoni tal-Medda tat-Throttle
- Ensure your transmitter is powered on and the throttle trim is set to neutral.
- With the ESC powered off, press and hold the ESC's power button.
- While holding the power button, connect the battery to the ESC. Continue holding the button until the blue LED light turns on and you hear a long motor beep. Then release the power button.
- A solid red light on the ESC indicates it has entered throttle calibration mode.
- Push the throttle stick on your transmitter to the maximum forward position. The ESC's blue/red LED light will blink three times and stay on, accompanied by a motor beep, confirming forward throttle has been set.
- Move the throttle stick to the full reverse position. The ESC's blue/red LED light will blink three times, then stay on with two motor beeps, confirming reverse throttle has been set.
- Finally, return the throttle stick to the neutral position. The ESC's blue/red LED light will blink three times, followed by three motor beeps, indicating throttle calibration is successfully completed.

7. Programming and Tuning
The Keenso 120A ESC is programmable, allowing you to fine-tune various parameters for optimal performance. A separate program card (not included) is typically used for this purpose. Refer to the program card's manual for detailed instructions on adjusting settings such as running mode, cutoff voltage, punch, drag brake force, max brake force, max reverse force, neutral range, timing, Lipo cells, and BEC voltage.
8. Manutenzjoni
- Tindif: Regularly clean the ESC and its cooling fan to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
- Spezzjoni: Spezzjona perjodikament il-wajers u l-konnetturi kollha għal sinjali ta’ xedd, ħsara, jew korrużjoni. Ibdel kwalunkwe komponent bil-ħsara immedjatament.
- Ħażna: Store the ESC in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect all batteries before storage.
9 Issolvi l-problemi
If you encounter issues with your ESC, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Il-Mutur Mhux Jaħdem:
- Check all wiring connections (motor, battery, receiver).
- Kun żgur li l-batterija tkun iċċarġjata u konnessa sew.
- Perform throttle calibration again.
- Verify the transmitter is powered on and correctly bound to the receiver.
- Tisħin żejjed tal-ESC:
- Check for proper ventilation and ensure the cooling fan is operating.
- Reduce the load on the motor (e.g., use a smaller pinion gear).
- Ensure the motor is not too large or too powerful for the ESC.
- Imġieba Motorja Erratika:
- Ikkalibra mill-ġdid il-medda tat-throttle.
- Iċċekkja għal interferenza minn apparat elettroniku ieħor.
- Ensure motor wires are securely connected and not shorting.
