2. Informazzjoni dwar is-Sigurtà
TWISSIJA: L-iwweldjar jista' jkun perikoluż. Dejjem segwi l-prekawzjonijiet ta' sigurtà biex tevita korriment serju jew mewt. Aqra u ifhem it-twissijiet u l-istruzzjonijiet kollha ta' sigurtà qabel ma tħaddem dan it-tagħmir.
- Xokk Elettriku: Can kill. Do not touch live electrical parts. Wear dry insulating gloves and protective clothing. Insulate yourself from work and ground.
- Dħaħen u Gassijiet: Can be hazardous to your health. Keep your head out of the fumes. Use enough ventilation and/or exhaust at the arc to keep fumes and gases away from the breathing zone.
- Raġġi tal-Ark: Can burn eyes and skin. Wear a welding helmet with a proper shade of filter to protect your face and eyes when welding or watching. Wear appropriate eye protection with side shields when not welding. Wear protective clothing made from durable, flame-resistant material.
- Nar u Splużjoni: Welding can cause fire or explosion. Keep flammables away from welding area. Have a fire extinguisher nearby. Do not weld on containers that have held combustibles.
- Partijiet sħan: Can cause severe burns. Allow hot parts to cool before handling. Wear heavy, insulated welding gloves.
- Storbju: Storbju eċċessiv jista’ jagħmel ħsara lis-smigħ. Ilbes protezzjoni għall-widnejn.
- Pace Maker: Persons with a pacemaker should consult their doctor before operating this equipment.

5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your TITANIUM MIG 170 Welder:
- Konnessjoni tal-Enerġija:
- Kun żgur li l-welder huwa mitfi.
- Connect the power cord to a suitable 120V or 240V AC power outlet. The welder automatically detects the input voltage. Kun żgur li ċ-ċirkwit jista' jimmaniġġja l-ħtieġa amperage (refer to specifications).
- Xogħol Clamp Konnessjoni:
- Qabbad ix-xogħol clamp cable to the appropriate terminal on the front panel of the welder.
- Waħħal ix-xogħol clamp securely to the workpiece or a clean, bare metal part of the welding table. Ensure good electrical contact.
- MIG Gun Connection:
- Connect the MIG gun cable to the corresponding receptacle on the welder's front panel. Ensure it is securely tightened.
- Installazzjoni tar-Rukkell tal-Wajer:
- Iftaħ il-kompartiment tal-wajer.
- Mount the wire spool onto the spindle, ensuring it rotates freely.
- Feed the welding wire through the wire feed mechanism and into the MIG gun liner. Ensure the correct drive roller size is used for your wire diameter.
- Close the wire compartment.
- Gas Connection (if using gas-shielded MIG):
- Connect the gas hose from your shielding gas cylinder regulator to the gas inlet on the back of the welder.
- Kun żgur li l-konnessjonijiet kollha huma ssikkati biex tevita tnixxijiet tal-gass.
6. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
Qabel ma tħaddem, kun żgur li l-prekawzjonijiet kollha ta' sigurtà huma mifhuma u segwiti.
- Qawwa Mixgħul: Turn the power switch to the "ON" position. The display will illuminate.
- Aġġusta Settings:
- Voltage (V): Aġġusta l-voltage knob according to the material thickness and type.
- Wire Feed Speed (WFS): Adjust the wire feed speed knob. This setting is crucial for a stable arc and proper bead formation.
- Refer to the welding chart (often found inside the wire compartment door or in a separate guide) for recommended settings for different materials and wire diameters.
- Purge Gas (if applicable): If using shielding gas, briefly press the trigger on the MIG gun (without touching the workpiece) to purge air from the gas line.
- Ibda l-Iwweldjar:
- Position the MIG gun nozzle approximately 3/8 to 1/2 inch from the workpiece.
- Press the trigger on the MIG gun to initiate the arc and wire feed.
- Maintain a consistent travel speed and gun angle for a uniform weld bead.
- Stop Welding: Release the trigger to stop the arc and wire feed.
- Kessaħ: Allow the welder and workpiece to cool down after use.
- Itfi: Turn the power switch to the "OFF" position when finished welding.
7. Manutenzjoni
Manutenzjoni regolari tiżgura l-lonġevità u l-prestazzjoni ottimali tal-welder tiegħek.
- Kuljum/Qabel Kull Użu:
- Inspect all cables and connections for damage or wear.
- Check the MIG gun nozzle and contact tip for spatter buildup and wear. Clean or replace as necessary.
- Kun żgur li x-xogħol ikun magħluqamp makes good contact and is free of debris.
- Monthly/After Extended Use:
- Clean the wire feed rollers and guide tubes to remove any dust or debris.
- Inspect the MIG gun liner for blockages or wear. Replace if wire feeding becomes inconsistent.
- Use compressed air to blow out dust from the welder's cooling vents. Ensure the power is disconnected before doing so.
- Ħażna: Aħżen il-magna tal-iwweldjar f'ambjent nadif u niexef, 'il bogħod minn trab u umdità eċċessivi.
