The TC Electronic Impulse IR Loader is a compact and powerful pedal designed to bring authentic cabinet simulation and Impulse Response (IR) loading capabilities to your guitar rig. It comes pre-loaded with a selection of high-quality IRs and offers ample space for users to load their own custom IRs, providing versatile tone-shaping options for both live performance and studio recording.

This device features a robust design with intuitive controls, allowing for easy navigation and selection of IRs. It supports IRs up to 200ms in length and includes an A/B mode for quick switching between two different IRs.

3. Setup

The Impulse IR Loader requires a standard 9V DC power supply (not included). Connect the power supply to the 9V DC input jack on the pedal. Ensure the power supply meets the correct voltage and current requirements to prevent damage to the unit.

3.3. USB Connection for IR Loading

To load custom Impulse Responses, connect the pedal to your computer using the provided USB cable. The pedal will appear as a mass storage device, allowing you to drag and drop IR files into the designated folders. Once the power supply is connected, the unit will power on automatically. There is no dedicated power switch. Disconnect the power supply to turn off the unit.

4.2. Navigating IRs

4.3. Adjusting Output Level
