2. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clear space around the unit for proper air circulation.

Your Ivation dehumidifier offers three drainage methods:

When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and the 'Full' indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the bucket using the built-in handle and empty the water. 2. Continuous Gravity Drainage (Garden Hose): For hands-free operation, you can connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain outlet on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow water to drain by gravity to a suitable floor drain.

3. Built-in Pump Drainage (Pump Hose): The dehumidifier features an integrated pump for vertical water drainage. Connect the provided 16-foot pump drain hose to the pump drain outlet. This allows water to be pumped upwards into a sink, out a window, or to a higher drain point. Press the 'Pump' button on the control panel to activate this function.
