5.3 Setting Reference Points

The device can measure from its front or back edge. Press the Referenza button to switch between these two reference points. An icon on the display will indicate the active reference point.

To mute the device's sound, press and hold the Mute button. Repeat to unmute.

Measures the linear distance between two points. (Refer to 5.1 Basic Distance Measurement).

In this mode, the device continuously measures as you move it, displaying the current, minimum, and maximum distances. This is useful for finding the shortest or longest distance to a surface.
