TPMS Sensor installation requires a certain level of knowledge, skill, and special equipment. Only Qualified/Certified mechanics with adequate tools should perform the task.

PRE-PROGRAMMED = DIRECT-FIT

Pre-programmed TPMS sensors require pairing/re-learning procedure to communicate with the car's ECU system to send information such as tire pressure, tire location, etc.

DO NOT INSTALL SENSOR IF YOUR TOOLS CAN'T READ OUR SENSORS

Please do not attempt to start a sensor replacement job if your scan tool or OBD diagnostic tool cannot detect our sensor to display information such as sensor ID, frequency, battery status, and PSI.

The IM3502 TPMS sensors are designed for straightforward installation, but professional assistance is recommended due to the specialized nature of the task. The following steps outline the general procedure for both metal and rubber valve stem types.

Metal Valve Stem Installation

1. Step 1: Insert Valve Stem

   Insert the valve stem into the valve hole of the wheel from the inside out.

2. Step 2: Install Washer and Hexagonal Nut

   Install the washer and hexagonal nut onto the valve stem from the outside of the wheel.

3. Step 3: Tighten Hexagonal Nut

   Use a wrench to hold the valve stem and keep it vertical. Meanwhile, use a torque wrench to tighten the hexagonal nut with 4.0 N·m (±0.2) torque.

4. Step 4: Finished Installation

   Ensure the sensor is securely mounted and vertical.

Rubber Valve Stem Installation

1. Step 1: Pull Rubber Valve Stem Through

   Using a valve stem tool, pull the rubber valve stem through the valve hole of the wheel until it is fully seated.

2. Step 2: Screw Sensor and Tighten

   Screw the sensor onto the top of the stem. Use a torque wrench to hold the valve stem and maintain a vertical position, then tighten the screw with 1.4 N·m (±0.2) torque.

3. Step 3: Finished Installation

   Confirm the sensor is securely installed and properly aligned.
