Follow these steps to properly install and connect your Thincol ARGB + PWM Hub:

The hub features a magnetic suction design, allowing it to be securely attached to any iron metal surface within your computer case. Choose a location that provides easy access for cable management and does not obstruct airflow.

Connect the hub to your power supply unit (PSU) using a SATA power connector. This connection is essential for the hub to function and provide stable power to all connected fans and ARGB devices.

5.3 Fan and ARGB Device Connections

The hub provides 8 PWM fan ports and 8 ARGB lighting ports. Carefully connect your 4-pin PWM fans to the designated PWM ports and your 5V 3-pin ARGB devices (such as LED strips or ARGB fans) to the designated ARGB ports. Ensure correct orientation to avoid damage.

Attention: Be sure to plug in the cable only when the power is off. Do not plug into any wrong interface to avoid causing short circuits and burning the equipment!

5.4 Motherboard Synchronization Connection (Optional)

If your motherboard supports 5V 3-pin ARGB and PWM control, you can connect the provided synchronization cables to your motherboard for software control.

  • Connect the 5V 3-pin ARGB synchronization cable from the hub to the 5V ARGB header on your motherboard.
  • Connect the PWM temperature control cable from the hub to a 4-pin PWM fan header (e.g., CPU_FAN or SYS_FAN) on your motherboard.

6. Operazzjoni

The included 21-key remote control allows you to manage lighting effects and fan speeds independently. Point the remote towards the hub's receiver for optimal response.

  • Power On/Off: Use the dedicated power button to turn the lighting and fans on or off.
  • Color/Mode Selection: Cycle through various static colors and dynamic lighting effects using the color and mode buttons.
