1. Introduzzjoni

Thank you for choosing the atolla Laser Distance Meter, Model T201. This compact and versatile device is designed to provide accurate and efficient measurements for a wide range of applications, from home DIY projects to professional construction tasks. With its advanced laser technology, multiple measurement modes, and user-friendly interface, the T201 simplifies complex measuring processes.

WARNING: This is a Class II laser product. Do not stare into the laser beam. Avoid direct eye exposure. Laser output is less than 1mW.

3. Setup

3.1 Installazzjoni tal-batterija

The atolla Laser Distance Meter requires two AAA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:

  • ON/READ Button: Powers on the device, initiates a measurement, or confirms a selection.
  • +/- UNIT Button: Toggles between addition/subtraction mode and changes measurement units (meters, inches, feet).
  • Area/Volume/Indirect Measurement Button: Cycles through different measurement modes (Area, Volume, Pythagorean).
  • Reference Button / Mute Button: Changes the measurement reference point (front or rear of the device) or mutes/unmutes the device sounds.
  • History Button: Accesses the memory to review l-aħħar 20 kejl.
  • OFF/Return Button: Powers off the device or returns to the previous screen/mode.

The device supports measurements in meters (m), inches (in), and feet (ft). To change the unit:

4.3 Setting Reference Point

Measurements can be taken from the front or the rear of the device. The default reference point can be adjusted by +/- 7mm if necessary for calibration.

4.4 Modi ta' Kejl

The atolla Laser Distance Meter offers several measurement modes:

  • Kejl Uniku: Agħfas ON/READ once to activate the laser, then again to take a single measurement.
  • Kejl Kontinwu (Min/Max): Agħfas u żomm il- ON/READ buttuna biex tidħol fil-modalità ta' kejl kontinwu. L-apparat se jkejjel u juri kontinwament id-distanzi attwali, minimi u massimi. Agħfas ON/READ mill-ġdid biex tieqaf.

  • Kejl taż-Żona: Agħfas il- Area/Volume/Indirect Measurement button once. The display will show an icon for area. Take two consecutive measurements (length and width). The device will automatically calculate and display the area.
  • Kejl tal-Volum: Agħfas il- Area/Volume/Indirect Measurement button twice. The display will show an icon for volume. Take three consecutive measurements (length, width, and height). The device will automatically calculate and display the volume.
  • Kejl Pitagoriku: Agħfas il- Area/Volume/Indirect Measurement button repeatedly until the desired Pythagorean mode icon appears (e.g., for indirect height or length). Follow the on-screen prompts to take the required measurements (e.g., hypotenuse and one side). The device will calculate the unknown side.

4.5 Żieda u Tnaqqis

Fil-mod ta 'kejl, agħfas il- +/- UNIT button to switch between addition (+) and subtraction (-) operations. Take subsequent measurements, and the device will add or subtract them from the previous result.

4.6 Funzjoni Mute

To mute or unmute the device's sounds (e.g., button presses, measurement confirmations), press the Reference Button / Mute Button (speaker icon) briefly.

4.7 Riviewing Measurement History

The device can save up to 20 measurement records. To review them, press the Storja button (book icon). Use the +/- UNIT buttuni biex tinnaviga fil-kejl maħżun.

5. Manutenzjoni

  • Tindif: Uża artab, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive materials or solvents. Ensure the laser lens is kept clean for accurate measurements.
