3. Assemblea

The chainsaw may require some assembly before first use. Follow these steps carefully.

3.3 Daħħal il-batterija

This chainsaw operates with Greenworks 40V Lithium-Ion batteries (sold separately).

4. Operazzjoni

Before starting, ensure all safety checks are complete and you are wearing appropriate PPE.

• Tqattigħ ta' Siġar Żgħar: Plan your escape path. Make a notch cut (undercut) on the side of the tree in the direction of the fall, then make a felling cut from the opposite side, slightly above the notch.
• Limbing: Remove limbs from a fallen tree. Work from the butt end towards the top, keeping the tree between you and the chainsaw. Be aware of spring-loaded branches.
• Tibdil: Cutting a fallen log into shorter lengths. Support the log to prevent pinching. If cutting from above, cut about one-third of the way through, then roll the log and finish the cut. If cutting from below, cut one-third from below, then finish from above.
• Evita Kickback: Never cut with the tip of the guide bar. Maintain a firm grip and stable stance.

5. Manutenzjoni

• Ensure the oil port on the guide bar is clear of debris.
