6. Setup Inizjali

After successful installation and wiring, power on the device using the power button. The device will boot up and display the main interface.

  1. Access the main menu (usually by pressing 'M' or 'OK' and entering administrator credentials).
  2. Navigate to "User Management" or "Add User".
  3. Enter a unique User ID.
  4. Register Fingerprint: Place the user's finger on the sensor three times, lifting it slightly between each scan, until successful registration is confirmed.
  5. Set PIN (Password): Enter a numeric PIN for the user.
  6. Assign user roles (e.g., normal user, administrator).

7.2 Deleting a User

From the "User Management" menu, select "Delete User", choose the User ID, and confirm the deletion.

  1. Place a registered finger flat on the fingerprint sensor.

8.2 ID + PIN Authentication

  1. Enter your User ID using the keypad.
  2. Press the 'OK' button.
  3. Enter your registered PIN.
  4. Press the 'OK' button. A successful verification will be indicated, and the door will unlock.

9. Software Integration (CrossChex)

The ANVIZ VF10 integrates with ANVIZ CrossChex software for comprehensive management of users, devices, attendance data, and reporting.

CrossChex Standard provides advanced features for managing multiple devices, complex shift schedules, access rules, and detailed attendance reports. It allows for centralized user enrollment and data synchronization.

9.2 CrossChex Lite Software

CrossChex Lite is a streamlined version for basic time attendance and access control functions. It is suitable for smaller installations or simpler requirements.

9.3 Data Download and Reporting

Connect the VF10 to the CrossChex software via TCP/IP or Mini USB to download attendance logs and user data. The software can then generate various reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly attendance summaries, late arrivals, early departures, and overtime.

10. Manutenzjoni

  • Tindif: Gently wipe the fingerprint sensor and LCD screen with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
