This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your LEHMANN drawer lock, model 0342103001. This lock is designed for securing drawers and features key-based unlocking.

4. Setup u Installazzjoni
Before installation, ensure you have the necessary tools: drill, appropriate drill bits, screwdriver, and a measuring tape.
- Ipprepara l-kexxun: Determine the desired location for the lock on your drawer. Mark the center point for the cylinder hole.
- Drill the Cylinder Hole: Using an appropriate drill bit (refer to Figure 2 for cylinder diameter, which is 18mm), carefully drill a hole through the drawer front at the marked location.
- Immonta l-Korp tas-Serratura: Insert the cylinder part of the lock through the drilled hole from the front of the drawer.
- Issikkar is-Serratura: From the inside of the drawer, place the retaining nut or washer over the cylinder and tighten it securely. Ensure the lock body is flush against the drawer interior.
- Install the Striker Plate (if included): If a separate striker plate is provided, position it on the drawer frame or cabinet body where the locking arm will engage. Mark and drill pilot holes, then secure the striker plate with screws.
- Operazzjoni tat-Test: Insert the key and turn it to ensure the locking arm extends and retracts smoothly. Verify that the lock engages properly with the striker plate when the drawer is closed.
Nota: Always ensure the lock is installed squarely and securely to prevent misalignment and ensure proper function.
5. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
The LEHMANN drawer lock operates with a key mechanism.
- Biex Tissakkar: Close the drawer completely. Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it clockwise (or counter-clockwise, depending on the lock mechanism) until the locking arm extends and engages with the striker plate. Remove the key.
- Biex Nisfruttaw: Insert the key into the lock cylinder. Turn the key in the opposite direction until the locking arm retracts. The drawer can now be opened. Remove the key.
Importanti: Do not force the key if it feels stiff. Ensure the key is fully inserted before turning.
6. Manutenzjoni

- Tindif: Wipe the exterior of the lock with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the nickel finish.
