1. Assemble the Support Legs: Slide one support leg into each of the two parallel bracket tracks. While doing so, hold in both locking buttons on either side of the support leg. Release the locking buttons to secure the support legs in the desired position.
2. Attach Extension Beams: For additional stability, insert the included extension beams into each side of the beam rail. Press in the locking button as you insert. Release the locking button so each extension beam extends from the outer hole of the beam rail, locking it in place at the desired length.
3. Position the Bracket in Window: Carefully place the assembled bracket in the window opening. Adjust each extension beam until it is positioned securely inside the window frame. The bracket easily expands from 24 to 38 inches to fit most single or double hung windows.
4. Adjust for Exterior Wall Thickness: The bracket adapts to exterior wall thickness from 4 to 11 inches. Adjust the support legs to ensure the foot pads rest firmly against the exterior surface of your home. The integrated rubberized feet provide stability without causing damage.
