4. Setup

8. Manutenzjoni

8.1. Sostituzzjoni tal-batterija

The APC Back-UPS BX1400UI uses two 12V 7.2Ah sealed lead-acid batteries. The recommended replacement battery pack is APC RBC113.

  • During Warranty: If the unit is still under its 2-year warranty, battery replacement must be performed by Schneider Electric IT (SEIT) customer service. User-performed battery replacement during the warranty period will automatically void the warranty.
  • After Warranty: After the warranty period, batteries can be replaced by the user. However, due to the presence of high voltage components even when disconnected, it is highly recommended that this operation be performed by specialized personnel. If you choose to replace the batteries yourself, exercise extreme caution.
